WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

27th June – 12th July 2026

10am – 4pm (Last entry 3pm)

Cow Milking Daily at 10.30am & 2pm

This is an undercover activity and visitors can all try milking the cow.

After the MORNING MILKING

*separating milk and cream

*churning cream to butter

*grinding wheat to flour

*baking bread

*TASTING the bread and butter at 12.

Lots of animals for “hands on”experiences

Bottle feeding @10.15am & 3.30pm

Pony Rides $5 (100m)

**For safety reasons Pony Rides do not operate on days of high wind

Free hayride

Animal fun for all ages.

Once the holidays are over the farm is closed on Thursdays and Fridays

The Farm

The Farmyard in Balnarring (Mornington Peninsula) offers “hands on” experiences with a large variety of friendly farm animals in a relaxed rustic farm setting.

Walk through paddocks with:

• Sheep, Goats, Calves, Poultry, Pigs, Emus, Alpacas

• Rabbit and guinea pig patting areas

Other animals that can be patted over the fence are ponies, donkeys, a mule, dingoes and big pigs.

Feed is available for the animals and sometimes there is a baby animal requiring a bottle…

We offer excursions with wonderful educational outcomes. We are sorry but we no longer provide a mobile service

Little Piggies Playgroup

Little Piggies Playgroup is a fun, educational playgroup where children can learn about life on the farm. There are lots of opportunities to meet, feed and pat a range of native Australian and farmyard animals and learn about different farm friends, tasks or machinery.
