PLEASE NOTE: Many diseases can be transferred from animals to humans through contact with skin, wool, hair. blood, saliva and urine

***Please weigh up the benefits of animal contact against the risk, especially for vulnerable people (elderly, young children, pregnant women and people with impaired immune systems) and take particular care of personal hygiene.

Pony Rides (100m) $5 Weight limit of 35kg

For safety reasons PONY RIDES do not operate on days of high wind

Lots of “hands on” experiences with a large range of animals

Bottle feeding at 1pm (later on Sat 19th)

AFL GRAND FINAL PARADE DAY (Sept 25th) If children wear their footy colours they will receive a free cup of animal food. Special feature prize of a FREE PONY RIDE** for those wearing the “right” footy team jumper!! **Subject to weight limit for ponies.

The Farm

The Farmyard in Balnarring (Mornington Peninsula) offers “hands on” experiences with a large variety of friendly farm animals in a relaxed rustic farm setting.

Walk through paddocks with:

• Sheep, Goats, Calves, Poultry, Pigs, Emus, Alpacas

• Rabbit and guinea pig patting areas

Other animals that can be patted over the fence are ponies, donkeys, a mule, dingoes and big pigs.

Feed is available for the animals and sometimes there is a baby animal requiring a bottle…

We offer excursions with wonderful educational outcomes. We are sorry but we no longer provide a mobile service

Little Piggies Playgroup

Little Piggies Playgroup is a fun, educational playgroup where children can learn about life on the farm. There are lots of opportunities to meet, feed and pat a range of native Australian and farmyard animals and learn about different farm friends, tasks or machinery.
